We all know that the Neutrik  4-pole Speakon is a great connector and it has become the de facto standard for amplifier and speaker manufacturers.  But it's becoming increasingly common to find that the output pins of your amplifier do not match the input pins of your loudspeaker.  This renders your stock of pin-to-pin speaker cables unusable without an on-site re-wire.  Then there's the grief (and confusion) involved when the now non-standard cables are next used.
