TX3010/TX3014 muting module fitting to TX6000/TX8000 Mixer
Series
There are two voice activated muting
modules available for the Australian Monitor TX6000 and TX8000 mixers, these
are the
TX3010 and the TX3014.
The TX3010 mutes channels 2-8 from input 1
and the TX3014 is a dual level card which mutes channels 2-8 from
input 1 and 3-8 from input 2.
A number of customers have experienced
difficulty installing the TX cards into the TX series mixers as
the supplied instructions are not 100% clear.
Below you'll find a simple way to do this - just follow these easy
instructions!
1) Unplug the unit from the mains supply
2) Undo the screws holding the top cover and remove the cover
3) Remove card from packaging and plug the end with the single
connector onto the TX3010 board as shown in the picture below
taking care to insert the cable with the wire colours in the
positions shown:

4) Plug the other end of the cable into the mixer main board to
the socket directly behind Input 1 level control as
shown below, again noting the wire colours orientation

5) You should now have your board connected as shown below. Check
your wiring just to be sure

6) Now fix the board to the centre of the mixer case using the
standoffs as shown below:

You're done!
